Engagement/Family Photoshoot with the Freemans

On Sunday I met up with the Lisa, Nick, Addison, their dog Bella, as well as the grandparents, Karen and Jeff for a engagement/family photoshoot. What is special about this photoshoot was that Lisa and Nick are not just getting married next spring, but they are also joining a family together with Nick's daughter Addison. So they have tried to incorporate her into all aspects of the wedding. I met up with Lisa a few months ago to help her design all the stationary for her wedding and so far it's been a blast working with her. Wait till you see the invites I designed for her next year....too much fun!! I've heard so much about Nick and Addison for awhile and finally I got to meet them yesterday. We had a great time playing and taking pictures....well Addison was playing, I was chasing her around with my camera and bribing her with a big ole lollipop. But all that chasing and bribing paid off, and I think I got some great pictures of this cute little family. Check it out and check out the slideshow too!

Laguna Beach

Aaah, one of the nice perks of living in the OC. We get to still hang out at the beach taking pictures, without freezing to death....although it was still chilly for California skinned natives :)This pic was taken during one of the [B] School photosafaries I went to last week. It was great making new friends and shooting pictures for fun!

Family photoshoot with the Sumala's

For this year's photoshoot with the Sumala's we decided to go to the Riley Wilderness Park in the OC. This year Kelan is 2 1/2 years old, and boy what a difference a year makes for a toddler. Last year, I was already pooped out from running after him, but this year, he would literally not sit still.....well, till we bribed him with lollipops, then he was quite the angel, for about a few minutes....but we managed to wrestle him down for a few formal shots, then we just let him be, so he could run off the sugar from all the candy! He went over his candy quota for the day (he's usually only allowed one piece of halloween candy a day) but it was so worth it.

Just Because - Photoshoot

On Saturday, I did a photoshoot for my friend Pui and her boyfriend Geoff. Pui met Geoff this year, and he has turned her life around, and for the better!! This is the 3rd time that I have hung out with him and I can tell that he truly is a great guy who only wants to make Pui happy. Awwwww. Which makes me super happy for my good friend!! We did a "Just Because" photoshoot at the San Juan Capistrano train station and some photos were taken at a nearby field and we had so much fun. Geoff is a goofy guy, so he kept us laughing....but they were also perfect models, because they were down with anything!! Check out the cute couple! Oh and check out the slideshow too!! Halloween 2009

It was a busy, busy past weekend. I was all over Southern California. On Friday night, I was at a birthday party in West L.A. On Saturday, there was a housewarming party out in Temecula and on Sunday, Charlie's sister had a Halloween party in S.D. It was a lot of driving, but I had a great weekend, meeting new people, and catching up with old friends.

So on Sunday, I was kinda tricked with food to shoot pictures of Kyan, nephew, in his costume....although you don't really have to trick me into photographing this adorable child!! He just loves my camera, and the camera loves him! Check him out looking all cute in his costumes....yes it is costumes with an "S" The boy changed 3 times!! First it was just the Halloween shirt, then the monkey costume (my favorite), a Bruce Lee outfit, then the old school asian boy outfit. Yeah we went a bit overboard, but there is only so many years where you get to force your child into any costume you want! (haha)

Aww, sad little monkey....I don't remember why he was grumpy...but I thought this pic was funny!

These little shoes is what inspired the asian outfit....we didn't know how much longer he could where them...and we needed pics of them, of course.
